About Founo / Founder-led digital studio

Close to your business.
Responsible for the whole picture.

Founo combines design, growth and engineering for businesses that need the customer-facing experience and the systems behind it to work together — from a £1,500 website through to £20,000+ software when the operation demands it.

Why Founo exists

Businesses do not experience
isolated problems.

Website problems, marketing problems and software problems arrive together — even when only one of them feels urgent.

A new site can change how people see you. But what happens when they enquire, book or buy matters just as much — and generic tools eventually stop fitting how the business actually runs.

Founo exists because those decisions belong in the same conversation. The copy needs to explain the offer. The marketing needs somewhere useful to send people. The systems need to carry work forward without unnecessary admin.

That is why design, growth and engineering sit in one studio — so you can start with the immediate bottleneck and keep sight of what comes next without rebriefing a new supplier each time.

What the studio combines

Design, growth
and engineering.

Three capabilities, one connected view. Most projects begin with one area and expand as the business becomes more complex.

01

Design

Make the offer easy to understand and act on.

Information architecture, copy, visual design and conversion paths — for websites, ecommerce and the interfaces inside operational software.

Structure / Copy / UX / Development
02

Growth

Bring suitable people to the right pages.

Technical SEO, commercial landing pages, Google Ads, paid social and measurement — connected to what happens after the click, not disconnected campaigns.

SEO / Ads / Landing pages / Tracking
03

Engineering

Build the systems behind the business.

Automation, integrations, customer portals, internal tools and bespoke applications — with APIs, data models and permissions treated as part of the product.

Experience

Built from both sides of the work.

Founo combines the customer-facing side of a business with the systems behind it. The work draws on experience across digital products, production software and commercial customer journeys — from what happens on screen to the services and workflows underneath.

A broader perspective. A more capable studio.

This combination of product, engineering and commercial experience is what allows Founo to move naturally from websites and growth work into automation, integrations, portals and bespoke software.

Who leads the work

Close to the business.
Deep in the work.

I’m Nasim, founder of Founo. I lead strategy and delivery — from how a customer understands an offer to how the software behind it behaves, including booking flows, payment journeys, staff tools and the rules that connect them.

Because the same person thinking about the conversion journey can also understand the API, permissions and workflow behind it, projects do not need to be handed from a strategy layer to an entirely separate technical one. That changes the quality of commercial decisions when a project stops being “just a website”.

Specialists join for photography, copy, paid media or additional development where the brief genuinely benefits. Roles and responsibilities are agreed in the proposal — Founo does not pretend to have departments that do not exist.

How we decide what to build

Off-the-shelf when it fits.
Custom when it must.

Technical depth should reduce risk and waste — not push every client towards expensive bespoke work.

Configured tools

Shopify, WordPress, CRMs and integrations

When a proven platform or integration solves the problem, that is what we recommend. The goal is a dependable result — not a custom build to justify a higher fee.

Custom software

Portals, tools and operational platforms

When permissions, workflows, data models or integrations outgrow generic tools, we design software around how the business actually operates — with paid discovery before large build commitments.

Principles

Standards that scale with the investment.

A £1,500 website and a £20,000 software project need different scopes. These principles apply to both.

01

Solve the actual bottleneck

Start with the business problem, not the channel or technology someone assumed you needed. A better website, sharper SEO or a custom tool only makes sense once the constraint is understood.

02

Use off-the-shelf where sufficient

Shopify, WordPress, established CRMs and proven integrations are often the right answer. Founo does not build custom software to justify a higher fee when a configured tool will do the job.

03

Build custom where justified

When permissions, workflows, data or integrations outgrow generic tools, we design software around how the business actually operates — with discovery before large build commitments.

04

Measure what matters

Enquiries, bookings, conversion events and operational time saved are more useful than vanity metrics. Analytics and feedback loops are part of the scope, not an afterthought.

05

No fake scale

Founo is founder-led with specialist collaborators where useful. We do not invent departments, inflate team size or borrow client results we cannot stand behind.

06

Clear scope

Deliverables, responsibilities, timeline and price are agreed before work begins. Changes are assessed against that scope — with cost and timing explained before they happen.

07

Real proof

Published work shows what was actually built. Where outcomes have not been measured, we describe the implementation honestly rather than inventing uplift.

Evidence before adjectives

Look at what was actually built.

Published work is a small, specific body of evidence — each project shows a different part of how Founo thinks and delivers.

How Founo works

A small studio.
A properly run project.

Nasim leads conversations about scope, priorities and delivery. You speak directly to the person responsible for decisions and review working progress at agreed checkpoints.

For complex software, discovery maps users, workflows, integrations and operating constraints before a build estimate. Collaboration expands what a project can draw on — accountability stays with one point of contact throughout.

Working together

Understand → Plan → Build → Launch & improve.

Enough structure to keep the project moving. Enough room to make good decisions when the brief evolves.

  1. 01

    Understand

We look at the business problem, the current system and the commercial context. Together we agree what is worth solving first and how success will be judged.

    • Business problem
    • Current system
    • Commercial context
  2. 02

    Plan

You receive scope, journey maps, architecture where relevant, measurement and a fixed price or clear estimate. Larger software begins with discovery before build commitments.

  3. 03

    Build

Design, engineering and integration progress in working checkpoints — not slide decks. Decisions stay visible and changes are agreed before they affect timeline or cost.

  4. 04

    Launch & improve

We test real customer journeys, deploy, hand over what you need to run the work and agree support. Ongoing SEO, ads or software care are scoped separately.

Our base, not our boundary

North East roots.
UK-wide work.

Founo is based in the North East, with published work for businesses in South Shields and South Tyneside. We work with businesses across the UK.

Calls, shared previews and agreed review points keep projects moving wherever you are based. Local knowledge helps when it is relevant — clear communication is part of every scope.

See the work

Founo is becoming the studio growing businesses use when they need the thing customers see, the channels that bring people to it, and the software behind the operation — without stitching together three separate suppliers.
