Work/Scissor Guys

Scissor Guys / Website

A walk-in shop. A website that makes it obvious.

A mobile-first website for the Ocean Road barbershop, putting its cuts, walk-in service and practical details in the foreground.

01 / The brief

Start with the way the business works.

A visitor checking the shop on their phone needs a few clear answers: what the cuts look like, whether an appointment is needed and where to go. The website needed to reflect the actual shop and remove uncertainty about visiting.

The project shown here demonstrates the work delivered and the decisions behind it. We do not have a published before-and-after performance study for this project.

02 / The decisions

Design with a practical reason.

01

Lead with how the shop works

Walk-in information is prominent. Customers can understand the service before spending time on the rest of the page.

02

Show the actual cuts

Photography from the shop gives the work a visible place. The style gallery provides a specific reason to consider the business.

03

Make a visit easy to plan

Ocean Road, contact details and directions support the practical next step. The information is designed to be useful on a phone, when someone may already be nearby.

03 / In the detail

The shop’s own work carries the story.

A service website can be distinctive without getting in the customer’s way. Here, the visual character and gallery sit alongside clear walk-in and location information.

04 / Explore the work

See it in context.

Client websites continue to evolve. The images above document the project; the live site may change as the business develops.
