How we scope a website project

What Founo needs to know before quoting a Launch or Growth website — and why fixed packages rarely fit.

Every business arrives with a different gap between the work and the website. Scoping is how we find the smallest project that closes that gap properly.

What we ask first

  • What does a good enquiry look like?
  • Which services or products matter most commercially?
  • What proof exists today — reviews, case studies, photos?
  • What integrations matter — booking, CRM, ecommerce, forms?
  • Who decides and who supplies content?

Launch vs Growth

**Launch Website** fits businesses replacing a basic site with a clear offer — typically one to five core pages.

**Growth Website** fits established firms needing service architecture, multiple landing paths, richer proof and SEO structure.

If the page count, locations or integrations grow significantly, we move to **Larger Website** pricing or split into phases.

Why we quote after understanding

Templates hide complexity. A five-page site for a single-location plumber is not the same job as five pages for a multi-service firm with three depots. Pricing anchors are starting points — the proposal reflects actual scope.

What you receive

A written proposal with deliverables, timeline, price and assumptions. No vague "custom quote" without explaining what custom means.
